Following some driver feedback, we have been informed by some drivers that they believed the red cap needed to be screwed on as tight as virtually possible.

This is not the case; this cap needs to be screwed on with no excessive force and with one hand until the cap cannot be turned anymore.

Fuel theft is an issue for many businesses as one business recently found out. Thieves siphoned 2,000 litres of fuel from a number of Freight Force Distribution trucks  parked on their own premises  on a weekend in April this year.

This is the first time we have been attacked in our own yard. So obviously we have the cost of the stolen fuel hitting us, and then there is the fact the lorries were parked up while we had to replace the diesel, meaning we lost work time.  Nick Jolley, Operations Director
