Fleet managers ‘need to consider cost savings’

Fleet managers are advised to make cost savings says Ross Jackson’s artice on the Energy Savings Trust website.

Ross Jackson, managing director of consulting firm Fleet Operations, noted that managing costs needs to be the “number one priority” for transport executives.

With this the goverment have made an incentive scheme to buy more electric cars.

Another case of Fuel Theft!

Leamington Spa Courier recently reported that four people were arrested in April following the theft of fuel from 2 lorries in Ryton-on-Dunsmore.

Police were called out in the early hours of the morning after the thieves were spotted siphoning the fuel, the lorries were parked off the A45 in a layby.

The four men were arrested and taken into custody. Rugby Police say a large quantity of fuel had been siphoned from both of the lorries. This case of fuel theft highlights the need to take preventative measures against this crime.  Find out more about anti-syphoning devices from aide automotive.
